FROG COMMUNITY PORTAL
The Frog Community Portal is your entry point to developing great projects relying on Frog Client or Frog Backend. It gives all your team members access to our extensive technical documentation and grants access to our full source code in private repositories on GitHub.
The Frog Community Portal gathers contents for all stakeholders in your pay-TV software development projects. Your Frog Team Manager can create as many accounts as required for all your team members. Developers setup their environment and get going thanks to our quickstart guides, then navigate through our interactive architecture diagrams down to individual component design descriptions, APIs, and more. Product or Project Managers rely on our feature tables and roadmap to plan their backlog and project schedule. We also publish exclusive contents for our Frog Licensees on our members-only blog.
FROG SOURCES ON GITHUB
The full source code of the Frog Solution is made available to our licensees’ development teams through private repositories on GitHub, the code sharing platform of choice for open source and community-driven projects. Developers can then fork our repos using their preferred git client and a unique authentication token delivered by the Frog Community Portal.
The Frog Askbot provides a community-driven knowledge base on the Frog Solution and our development tools. Questions and Answers can be entered by any team member and are moderated by our support team. Community members can search answers by tags and vote for the best ones, which ensures they are shown first.
GENBOX INTEGRATION TOOL
For integration, platform configuration and build, we offer as part of Frog the « Genbox », a powerful software packaging and build environment based on Gentoo. With the Genbox, you build and package your software image just like you would do for a Linux distribution. The Genbox supports integration with popular source code configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Mercurial …) and can wrap any platform-specific cross-compilation toolchain. Thanks to the Genbox, you can easily replicate a consistent setup across your development team and spend less time on fixing toolchain issues.
